Home Office
Sofa bed and dual work space (cute little frog storage bean bag for all of Katy's stuffed animals).
Upstairs "Katy shelf."
Desk for two with lots of organized storage.
When Daddy and I got married, we made an informal agreement that he would get to decorate one room of whatever apartment/home we were living at and I would be in charge of decorating and designing the rest of the house. Well, along comes you, Katy, and I had to recind slightly on that agreement.
Daddy's "Art Room" has now become the "Home office" as our needs and priorities as a family have shifted and changed. As I get more work to do from home and Daddy sometimes needs to bring work home on the weekends we need a workspace where two people could work. We also need an extra bed (preferably a double bed since most of our guests are married). Plus, we need room for your growing collection of books and toys in a place where we could watch you while we worked. Thus, was born the home office- desk for two, lots of storage, a new, upstairs "Katy shelf" and sofa bed- compliments of Ikea and lots of hard work on Daddy's behalf in putting together all of the furniture!! The room feels so much bigger and put together. We love the added storage and organization! We are super excited about our new multi-functional room!
Now, who will be our first guest to test out the sofa bed? :-)

This looks great! You guys are great decorators. We'll come to you for pointers when we have a space of our own!
