"Home again, Home again, Jiggity, jig..."
After a very busy and fun week in Florida, we drove home, today, Katy. You were such a good girl! After your baptism/Easter celebration with Grandma and Pop-Pop Tinkey, we drove to Jacksonville, FL, to visit with our friends, Mike and Sandra Noland, and then spend the night. We woke up early this morning and we were on the road by 7:30 AM. Eight hours, three stops for nursing, food and gas, and three car accidents on the side of the road, later we made it home safe and sound. You slept most of the way and even took a bottle from Mommy (you usually only take a bottle from Daddy) along the way. You also cooed a little, cried a little, fussed a little, and enjoyed playing with your Lumpy rattle.
When we got home, you nursed a little but mostly you were just happy to be out of your car seat! Eight hours in a car is a long trip for anybody, let alone a baby!
