The Game of Charades
Watch out game world, Ted and I rock when it comes to charades! In an effort to make the bedtime routine as quiet as possible for Katy, Ted and I use hand motions, exaggerated mouthing and charades in order to communicate while trying to put Katy down for bed. We've managed to have long, complete conversations over the course of a night doing this- "Boppy," "I need water," "Turn up/down the noise machine," "It's too cold/hot in here," "Close the door," "Let's take shifts, tonight," "Brace yourself to do the snot sucker..." It's amazing what you can say without saying a word!
