Romp n' Roll- Art Explorers
Katy's favorite part of the art experience was "painting" with glue.
Being shown how to paint with a pro (aka, Daddy).
On Tuesday, we participated in a free preview art class at Romp n' Roll. Yes, this is the same Romp n' Roll where we dropped Katy off for our Valentine's Day Night on the Town and Katy was THAT child crying and screaming and wanting her Mama. HOWEVER, we figured that as long as we were with her, Katy would do okay. Plus, it's an art class- our child is destined to love art, right?!?!
When we got there, it turns out that several of the other kids from our MOMs Club play group were there and everybody knew each other. Katy made a sun catcher with glue and tissue paper- the glue was her favorite part (go figure!). The kids colored with Kool-Aid and Q-Tips. The last project was finger painting in which Katy used a brush- thank you, very much! No more meltdowns over finger painting! Even though Katy washed her hands no less than three times, I believe that she had fun being creative!
