Little Rapunzel

Decorating a pumpkin with Daddy.

Yesterday was our neighborhood's Fall Festival. This was the first community event that we were able to partake in since we moved to RRC back in February. For one reason, or another, we were either out of town or had plans for the RRC Easter Egg Hunt, Summer Pool Party, and the Fourth of July BBQ.

For the kids, there was a costume party, face painting, pumpkin decorating, bounce house and games. For the adults, there was a chili cook-off (our first of three, this weekend!) and a (somewhat pathetic) bake-off (I didn't participate, this year. However, next year....! :-). They even had a television hooked up so the guys could watch the game.

Katy chose to dress up as a Rapunzel, for this event. Thanks to our friends, the Domms, Katy had a complete ensemble- purse, necklace, tiara and dress. She had a blast jumping in the bounce house and she LOVED watching the lady doing the face painting. So much so, that the woman called Katy her, "biggest fan" and gave her a special little trinket for watching.

We love our family-friendly neighborhood, Rocky River Crossing!
