Good-bye Swing, Hello, Exersaucer!
After our little incident with the swing, last night, we decided that it was time for more advanced entertainment, Katy. So, we borrowed an exersaucer from our friends, the Batys (Thank you Batys! :-) and gave it a whirl, today. So far, you seem to like it- it lights up, makes sounds and you can move!

Katy, ever since you rolled over at six weeks you haven't had a repeat performance... That is, until today! Today, you rolled over from tummy to back AND back to tummy!

Peek-A-Boo!
You've discovered the game, Peek-A-Boo, Katy, and it makes you laugh and smile. We were playing this evening and you figured out that if you grabbed the other end of the blanket I was using to play Peek-A-Boo with, that it's hard for Mommy to "disappear." You found this quite amusing and you were quite proud of yourself!
Time to Retire the Swing...
Today, when I was talking on the phone with Grandma Tinkey, I found you sitting up, practically doubled over and hanging off the side of the swing. So, I believe that it's in our best interest to pass the swing onto Cousin Coyle because you are getting to mobile for it!

Daddy and I were selected by http://www.houseparty.com/ to host a Hasbro Game night! Hasbro is unveiling a new version of Trivial Pursuit, and we get to play it before it hits the store shelves. Best of all, we received the new Trivial Pursuit along with munchies and two other games, Catch Phrase and Taboo, for FREE! We are super excited because we always love to have friends and family over to play board games and we already have a closet full of games. Walk This Way!
"Walking along... minding my business..."
"These boots were made for walking...."Something new we've tried this week is "standing up." We hold you firmly and securely by the trunk and put your feet on the ground/bed/flat surface. Then, we try to "walk" your feet across the surface. Sometimes, you even move your feet by yourself. You seem to like this and you get all proud of yourself for "standing up" like a big girl!
