Today, I'm sewing up the
Love Notions Origami Tunic in a coordinated Mommy and Me set. Miss Seven (and a half, she'll remind you! ;), still loves to dress similarly and I'm just riding that wave as long as it lasts (it's so fleeting!).
First, let's talk about the Ladies
Love Notions Origami Tunic PDF sewing pattern:
-Sized for XS-XXL
-3 sleeve lengths- short, 3/4 and long sleeve
-2 necklines- banded and cowl
-Optional Cardigan version
-2 hems- handkerchief or regular
-No-trim, layered pattern pieces
-Page layout and print page guide
-Sizing, fabric requirement and cutting guide included
-Step-by-step pictures and written instructions
I sewed up a size small, non-handkerchief hem, long sleeve
Love Notions Origami Tunic cardigan. I did shorten the front and back bodice pattern pieces for my 5'-0" height. I also shortened the sleeves and brought them in 1/2" to fit my arms, better. I love the easy wear-ability and the cascading front of the
Love Notions Origami Tunic as a cardigan. I just wanted to switch things up this time and make a cardi as I transition my wardrobe to fall layering pieces. I've made this pattern
before as a regular tunic and I still get lots of wear from it.
Next, let's discuss the Girl's
Love Notions Origami Tunic PDF sewing pattern:
-Sized for 2T-14y
-4 sleeve lengths- sleeveless, short, 3/4 and long sleeve
-3 necklines- banded, turtleneck and cowl
-2 hems- handkerchief or regular
-Optional contrast hem pattern piece
-Layered pattern pieces
-Page layout and print page guide
-Sizing, fabric requirement and cutting guide included
-Step-by-step pictures and written instruction
Missy is a dresses and leggings kind of gal- especially as we head into fall. Yet, she still plays hard needs to be able to move when it comes to her clothing. The
Love Notions Origami Tunic is the perfect solution- perfect to cover her bum (in leggings), long enough to *almost* be a dress and easy enough to wear while at recess! I sewed her a straight size eight, handkerchief hem, banded neckline, 3/4 sleeves
Love Notions Origami Tunic.
I KNOW we'll get lots of wear out of our
Love Notions Origami Tunics! Sew much fun to sew AND wear (and coordinate, of course ;-)!

You two are adorable!! Thanks for being part of the tour!
CUTE! She's getting so tall!
I agree this is a great make for girls that like to look great and play hard. You both look fantastic. Love mommy and me, but I never commit the time to do two things at once.
