This past Saturday, Lil' Miss joined me at work for a couple of hours. J, the eight year old son of one of my bosses also joined his mother at the shop.
The two were getting to know one another and J asked Katy, "Where are you from?" (meaning, what is your ethnicity?)
Katy matter-of-factly responded, "From God."
When J asked again, "No, where were you born?" Katy responded, "At a hospital. I'm American."
Heehehehehe... Truth from the mouth of babes!
