Sentence of the Day- Bad Word

We recently had to cancel our much-anticipated trip to the pumpkin patch with some of Katy's friends. One friend was sick and the other one had a rough night. While explaining this to Katy, she exclaimed, 'Mommy- you said a bad word!" Confused as to what Lil' Miss could misconstrue as a bad word, I asked her to tell me what she thought was the bad word."

She replied, "Cancel. Cancel is a bad word because I don't like it and it means we can't go (to the pumpkin patch)."

Well, I guess to a three and a half year old, "Cancel" is a bad word if it means you don't get to go to the pumpkin patch....
