**Disclaimer-I received this product for free from the manufacturer. I agreed to use this product and post my opinion on my blog. My opinions do not necessarily reflect the opinions of the manufacturer of the product.

I had the opportunity to try out Party-Tizers Dippin' Chips and Mrs. Thinster's Cookie Thins at the Moms Meet #WowSummit 2014. These tasty little treats are non-GMO and contain no artificial flavors, coloring or preservatives. Now, that's something to get excited about!

Let's talk about the Party-Tizers Dippin' Chips, first. These chips come in four different flavors- Veggie, Fiesta Bean, Super Grains and Sea Salt, I have personally only tasted the Veggie Variety. What I love most about these chips are the fact that they actually contain veggies (carrots, kale and broccoli, to be exact)! Now, I don't give my daughter chips on a regular basis. However, when I offered her some of the Party-Tizers Dippin' Chips, she jumped at the chance and gobbled them down- veggies and all! Every mama needs a little help when it comes to veg-a-phobe children. ;-P The chips are sturdy (perfect for dips) with the right about of saltiness. Plus, my daughter gobbled them down without complaint (did I mention that they contain VEGGIES?!?). That's a win in my book!

The Mrs. Thinster's Cookie Thins are light, crispy and sweet. Because they are thin (hence, the name), they act like a special treat without the over indulgence. Mrs. Thinster's Cookie Thins come in three flavors- Brownie Batter, Chocolate Chip and Cake Batter. I liked the Chocolate Chip and Cake Batter. Lil' Miss enjoyed the Brownie Batter- that girl LOVES her chocolate!

Thank you, Party-Tizers Dippin' Chips and Mrs. Thinster's Cookie Thins for the opportunity to review your product!

The Polar Express

Posted by Heather at Sunday, January 04, 2015 0 comments
"All Aboard," the conductor cried out. I ran up to him.

"Well," he said, "are you coming?"

"Where?" I asked.

"Why, to the North Pole, of course," was his answer. "This is the Polar Express." I took his outstretched hand and he pulled me aboard."

"The train was filled with other children, all in their pajamas and nightgowns We sang Christmas carols and ate candies with nougat centers as white as snow.... "

(Impressive wait staff antics on the moving, bumpy train!)

"We drank hot cocoa as thick and rich as melted chocolate bars. Outside, the lights of towns and villages flickered in the distance as the Polar Express raced northward."

"But the one thing I wanted most for Christmas was not inside Santa's giant bag. What I wanted more than anything was one silver bell from Santa's sleigh. When I asked, Santa smiled. Then, he gave me a hug and told the elf to cut a bell from the reindeer's harness. The elf tossed it up to Santa. He stood, holding the bell high above him, and called out, "The first gift of Christmas!"

"At one time most of my friends could hear the bell, but as years passed, it fell silent for all of them....the bell still rings for me as it does for all who truly believe."

Merry Christmas 2014- Christmas with the Tinkeys

Posted by Heather at Friday, January 02, 2015 0 comments
"Grandma and Pop-Pop Tinkey spent Christmas with us, this year."

"Pop and I had a Vampire tea party with fake vampire fangs found in my dress-up."

"Thanks for my 'Katelyn Grace' Cabbage Patch Kid doll. I've already requested that Mommy make her some more clothes."

"Pop-Pop gave me my first fishing rod- a Princess one! Daddy, Pop-Pop and I "practiced" "fishing" in the back yard, one afternoon during their visit."

"The day after Christmas, we all went to the Speedway Christmas Light show at the Charlotte Motor Speedway.
"I love pony rides!"

"At the Christmas Village, I was able to do a little stocking craft."

"After the light show and Christmas Village, we watched Frozen on the Speedway's GIGANTIC screen!! Elsa and Anna, larger than life and in HD.... life doesn't get better than that!!!"

(Thanks for my light-up Elsa crown, Jackson and Macy! I just HAD to wear it to movie! Also, I brought my new Elsa Barbie doll to the showing- thanks Auntie Hope and family!)

(Oops! I forgot to post this series of pictures from our recent Disney cruise!!)

Katy in front of the life-size Gingerbread House, on the Disney Magic.

A girl and her Gingerbread house creation (Lil' Miss decorated it all by herself!).

"Nom, nom, nom.... me love Gingerbread house!"
(Caught her red-handed, taking a big ol' bite out of the roof!)
