Out of the mouth of babes.

As your vocabulary increases daily, translating is becoming much easier. However, there are still times where a little translation is needed and I know that I'm going to miss the cute little sayings, once they are gone and you are speaking in full, complete sentences. For example;

"Fopfop" means flip flops. Yes, it is October in NC and Katy is still wearing her favorite purple flip flops (one size bigger!), thanks to Grandma Tinkey buying them in several sizes to accommodate Katy's growing feet (and penchant for FL footwear!).

"Happy Day!" translates to "Happy Birthday!" We were sitting in a restaurant last night, when the "Happy Birthday" song came on over the loud speakers. Katy started swaying and dancing to the music and saying (at the top of her lungs, I might add), "Happy Day, Happy Day! HAPPY DAY!"

"Peekboo!" is your way of playing the "Peek-a-boo" game. You still love that game and never cease to tire of hiding and popping your head out from the covers and saying, "Peekboo!"

"Cream" is code for ice cream. Our daughter was destined for a love of ice creaminess goodness! You will repeat this word over and over and over and over and over, voicing your desire for a treat!

"Tippy" usually refers to (veggie) chips. You love, love, love your veggie chips, Katy!
